climate hub catalyst internship
Join the University of Toronto’s new Climate Hub Catalyst Internship Program, offered in partnership with the U of T Climate Hub and the President’s Advisory Committee on the Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability (CECCS).
This program offers University of Toronto graduate students paid opportunities to work with a faculty supervisor on community-engaged research focused on climate action in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). Designed for a small, interdisciplinary cohort of graduate students, the program will support community-based research projects focused on climate action that bridge academia and action.
Students will complete part-time internships during the Winter term, supporting community-engaged research with a community partner. They will progress through the program as a cohort, receiving training, career development, and project management support from the U of T Climate Hub and CECCS.
Compensation & Schedule:
$10,000 CAD for a 4–6 month term
Anticipated start date: January 2026
Average commitment: 10–15 hours per week
Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments
